Ministers of Gospel asked to lead exemplary life-Bishop Zormelo

Winneba (C/R), July 20, GNA – The Bishop’s Senior Deputy of Africa Methodist Episcopal (A. M. E.) Zion Church, Western West Africa District, Reverend Dr Godfred N. Zormelo, has called on ministers of the gospel to lead exemplary lives for worthy emulation.

He said the situation where some pastors were dragged to courts for their involving in anti-social vices like fraud, rape and defilement is not the best in the fellowship of God.

Rev. Dr. Zormelo made the call at the close of a four-day annual district conference of the church, at Winneba.

The conference was on the theme, “Look into Your Hands, God is Able” and was attended by delegates and pastors from Winneba, Aboso, Agona Swedru, Asafo, Senya Beraku, Agona Odoben, Akotsi, Winneba Junction, Potsin, Apam and Bobikuma.

The conference afforded members to take stock of the previous activities, and also formulate strategies to help win more souls for Christ and the Church in the coming year.

Rev. Dr. Zormelo expressed the hope that the conference will go a long way to help develop a better relationship with God and mankind.

He appealed to Ghanaians to have faith in the government and President John Evan Atta Mills, and contribute their quota towards the development of the country.
