There are strong signs that very powerful forces are determined to cut Nana Akufo Addo, Minister of Foreign Affairs down to size and to embarrass him.
Over the last two weeks, media reports have accused him of covering up a deal involving a close relative, under the influence of a prominent chief.
According to THE INSIGHT, Nana Akufo Addo has vehemently denied the allegations.
His claims have apparently been confirmed by the current Attorney General and Minister of Justice who has said that the docket was brought to his attention this month.
So far, it appears that Nana Akufo Addo has managed to clear his name, but there are indications that some media houses still intend to go for his neck.
What is clear however is that Nana Akufo Addo has become such a target because of the perception that he is in what is now referred to as the ”Akyem Mafia.”
