Minister of Energy inaugurates Offinso South Nasara Club

Abofour (Ash), Nov. 22, GNA – Mr Albert Kan-Dapaah, Minister of Communications and Technology, has asked the people of Offinso South to be consistent in the election of a Member of Parliament (MP) to facilitate rapid development.

He said the constant changing of MPs did not augur well for the progress of the Constituency.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Abofour branch of the Nasara Club, a wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), at the weekend, Mr Kan-Dapaah told the electorate that they would be doomed if they voted for any other Parliamentary Candidate apart from the NPP.

Alhaji Abebe, National Treasurer of the Club, who swore the Executive into office, reminded them that for the first time in the history of the country, a Muslim was the Vice President.

This, he said, was a testimony to the fact that the NPP had the welfare of Muslims at heart and, therefore, asked them to discount any erroneous notion they had about the Party and to vote massively for the Presidential and Parliamentary Candidates of the NPP.

Alhaji Mamoud UAC, Regional Chairman of the Club, asked the members to serve the club with all humility and campaign vigorously for total victory of the Party.
