Minister Leads Trade Delegation to Netherlands

Dr Kofi Konadu Apraku, Minister of Trade and Industry is leading a business delegation to Amsterdam to explore new opportunities and consolidate existing economic relations, an official statement in Accra said on Tuesday.

While in the Netherlands, the statement said, Dr Apraku would represent the government to commemorate the centenary of diplomatic relations between Ghana and the Netherlands.

He will also go to Brussels to hold discussions with the European Union Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) arising out of Ghana’s export of canned tuna and tuna loins to Europe.

The statement said Dr Apraku would discuss trade-related issues with the President of the European Commission, Mr Romano Prodi.
