Minister In Addis Ababa For AU Meeting

Accra, Oct. 31, GNA – Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Minister of Foreign Affairs has left Accra at the head of a Ghanaian delegation to the Extra Ordinary Meeting on Africa’s Position of the UN Reform Process in Addis Ababa.

The Meeting would have all the representatives of members of the African Union present and would seek to chart a definite position for the Continent on the UN reforms especially the issue of permanent seats. Foreign Affairs officials told the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Sunday before departure that the meeting starts on Monday October 31 to November 1, 2005, adding that the rotational system looks likely to be high on the agenda. 31 Oct. 05
