Mr Bintim said such initiatives made the assemblies to develop the capacity to provide more development projects for the people. The Minister said this on Tuesday after inspecting the mango plantation at Somanya on the first of his two-day tour of the Eastern Region.

Mr Tettey said talks were going on to establish a factory to process the mangoes produced in the area including those produced from Dodowa area and the Manya Krobo-District. He said the assembly was holding talks with some groups of private investors to take over the management of the farm.
