Mining firm supports Mpatuom community

Mpatuom (Ash), July 7, GNA – Messrs E. K. Agyeman Mining Company Limited operating at Mpatuom in the Amansie West District in Ashanti, is supporting the community with two boreholes fitted with hand pumps and a three classroom block, office and store for the Junior High School. The company is also constructing a block for the kindergarten. Mr Emmanuel K. Agyeman, Managing Director of the company announced this when Nana Asamoah Tia II, chief of Mpatuom and his elders inspected the projects.

He said the projects form part of the company’s social responsibility to the communities in which they operated. Mr Agyeman pledged the company’s preparedness to assist in projects initiated by the community and called for co-operation of the people to enable them operate in an atmosphere of peace. Nana Agyeman thanked the company for its support to the community and promised to co-operate with the company in its endeavours.
