Presidential Staffer, James Agyenim Boateng has described the late President John Mills as a “leading light” and a “great role model”.
According to Agyenim Boateng, who served as deputy Information minister under the late law professor, said even the adversaries of the late President could acknowledge his fine nature.
“Prof J.E.A Mills was a leading light and a great role model. Even his adversaries acknowledge his simplicity, humility, honesty and integrity,” the aide to the current vice president wrote on his Twitter account.
Professor Mills died in July 2012 at the 37 Military Hospital while still serving his first term as President of Ghana.
He is credited for appointing many young people in the ruling National Democratic Congress to serve in his government.
