Mills To Visit Europe

At the recently concluded Conference of the NDC EU Group in Stockholm, Sweden which took place on 2nd of June the forthcoming planned visit of Prof Atta-Mills to Europe in October was announced to the Delegates. The NDC EU Group is made up of Branches from Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy and Associate Members from the Netherlands & Austria

The forthcoming visit is an opportunity to interact with NDC supporters and sympathizers in European countries and to brief them on the progress of his campaign and also to meet with other key Socialist Partners in Europe.

Prominent on his Agenda is an invitation as a Speaker to the Annual German Social Democratic Party (SPD) Congress to take place in Hamburg. The Social Democratic Annual Congress is a major gathering of the ruling German SPD Party and other Socialist Groups from around the World.

Following after his visit to Germany, Prof Mills will be hosted by the Netherlands Branches of the NDC and then onwards to visit the Swedish Branch. A tentative Agenda of his visit will be put out closer to the month for all sympathizers and well-wishers to meet with him at designated location in their various countries.

The weekend Meeting held under the Chairmanship of the Swedish Branch and its able Chairman Mr. Dechor Hein discussed amongst other things the strengthening of the NDC EU Group, its support to the 2008 election and the strengthening of the NDC Political Party and its infrastructure. It was attended by NDC Delegates from the Member and Associate countries across Europe
