Mills to pay a two-day visit to the Upper West Region

Wa, May 29, GNA – President John Atta Mills would embark on a two-day visit to the Upper West Region from Friday, May 28 following a similar visit to Upper East Region.

An official statement said the President, who would travel by road, would arrive at Wa by 1500 hours and would meet National Democratic Party executives.

He will call on the Chief Imam of Wa, Maulvi of the Ahmadiyya Mission, Yeri-Naa (Chief of muslim community), Tendambas, Zongo chiefs and the Christian Council of Ghana on Saturday. The President would also address a durbar of chiefs and people and inspect on-going projects in the regional capital.
