Accra (GAR), June 27, – Vice President Professor John Atta Mills today lauded the German government and German Non-Governmental Organisations for helping in deprived sectors of the Ghanaian economy. He said their commitment to the plight of the rural population and agriculture is highly commendable and asked for more assistance to boost the agro-forestry sector. “We have prioritized environmental protection and are mending it with the little resources we have. We will, however, need more hands and ideas in that area.” Prof. Mills was interacting with the new German Ambassador to Ghana, Mr Christian Nakonz, who paid a courtesy on him at the Castle, Osu.
