Mills participates in on-going Volta Regional Policy Fair

Ho, Aug. 18, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills on Thursday visited the on-going Volta Regional Policy Fair at Ho, and urged the youth to take advantage of Government policies and programmes to improve their living standards.

He said Government had faith in the youth as future leaders and would ensure that packages that would prepare them for the task ahead were pursued.

President Mills, who addressed the opening session of the Third General Assembly of Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana, visited the fair to acquaint himself with the activities. The theme for the Assembly is 93Integrity in Mission and Ministry”. The four-day fair is to give opportunity to the citizenry to make inputs or critique about policy initiatives of government. Decentralised departments and agencies as well as Municipal and District Assemblies in the Region are using the fair to showcase their policies, projects, activities and feedback for government. President Mills urged the youth to collaborate with government to ensure the success of youth policies programmes.
