Mills on a seven-day tour of Brong Ahafo

Sunyani Aug. 19, GNA- Professor John Evans Atta Mills, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is to begin a seven-day tour of Brong Ahafo from Thursday, August 19.

A statement from the regional branch of the party and signed by Mr Mohammed Kwaku Doku, Brong Ahafo Regional Secretary, said Professor Mills would arrive at Abesim, near Sunyani at about 1500 hours and pay a courtesy call on Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrawiri, Sunyanihene, at the palace. The tour would take him to Sunyani East, Sunyani West, Wenchi East, Wenchi West, Jaman North and Jaman South.

Other areas he would visit include Dormaa East, Asunafo North, Asunafo South, Asutifi South, Kintampo South, Techiman North, Atebubu South, Sene, Pru and Nkoranza North.

Mr Mohammed Seidu, the Regional Youth Organiser told the GNA on phone that the flagbearer was not on a campaign tour but rather “to see how the party is faring in the region”.
