Accra, April 6, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills has nominated Metroplitan/Municipal and District Chief Executives for confirmation by their respective assemblies and subsequent appointment. This is by virtue of section 243(1) of the Local Government Act, 1993, Act 462, according to a press release by Mr Joseph Chireh, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development in Accra on Monday. 06 March 09
