Mills Is Too Weak – Kofi Wayo

The founder and Leader of the United Renaissance Party (URP), Charles Kofi Wayo, has described President John Evans Atta Mills as being too weak and not having the dynamism to move the country forward.

According to him, the president, instead of seeking remedies to develop the country, rather indulged himself in religious activities.

“President Mills is too weak and religious to fight corruption in the country and does not have the forceful ideas to push the country forward; that is why I want to become the president of Ghana,” Mr. Wayo noted.

Mr. Wayo made this known when addressing a section of the youth of Ada during the inaugural ceremony of the Federation of Dangme Youth Association (FDYA) at Big-Ada in the Dangme-East District of the Greater Accra Region.

He called on government to arrest former Minister of Education, Betty Mould-Iddrisu, for refusing to prosecute Woyome when the issue was first brought to her attention. According to him, Ghanaians should stop blaming Alfred Agbesi Woyome for corrupt practices but blame the weak institutions in the country.

“Woyome saw an opportunity in the weak system in Ghana and took advantage of them to enrich himself. He should not be blamed for the money paid to him.”

He called on the president to demonstrate to Ghanaians that he was committed to fighting corruption in the country, accusing, “Leaders of today’s Ghana for not having the fear of God in them.”

The outspoken politician called on the youth to rise up and fight for their right and stop putting their trust in the politicians to better their lives.
