GENERAL SECRETARY of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie insists President Mills is not abreast with what is going on in the lives of Ghanaians stressing, “The President is dozing at the Castle.”
He said “President Mills is out of touch with the electorate that voted him into political power,” which is why the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leader has asserted that things are okay with Ghanaians.
President Mills, addressing party supporters at a political rally in Accra last Saturday, emphasized that his government has performed creditably well and that Ghanaians are reaping the dividends.
But in a sharp rebuttal, the NPP General Secretary rubbished the president’s claim that Ghanaians were all right, stating emphatically that things were very rough for the populace in recent times.
