The NPP General Secretary, Mr Dan Botwe, has spewed fire at flag bearer of the NDC, Prof J.E.A. Mills for what he termed Mills? ?irresponsible statements being made every now and then.?
In his rage, Mr Botwe described Prof Mills as a ?great liar.?
This is in relation to certain allegations made by Prof Mills against President Kufuor in respect of the circumstances that led to the continued stay in office of the Chief Director of the EC, Mr Damoah Agyeman and the controversy raised by the NDC flag bearer in relation to the actual age of the EC Chief Director.
He was delivering a keynote address at the Techiman North primary of NPP in the Brong Ahafo Region.
In his statement, Mr Botwe denied charges raised by the Professor against the President that he was behind the continued stay in office by Mr Damoah Agyeman, adding it was not true that Mr Agyeman was 60 years as Prof Mills would want the world to believe.
He described Prof Mills statement as misleading, calling him ?Prof John Evans Atta Lies.?
The General Secretary explained that Prof. Mills statement is only indicative of the NDC?s desperation to finding reasons for the impending defeat of the NDC in the December polls, ?And thereby use it as the basis to reject the people?s verdict and to cause mayhem
