Mills consoles families of Senya Breku tragedy

Senya Breku (CR), Jan. 4, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills accompanied by some government officials and Ministers of State on Wednesday visited Senya Breku in the Central Region to console families of the 27 who died when a truck rammed into people and buildings last week.

Thirty-five other victims are on admission at the Winneba Government Hospital.

He described the incident as very painful and therefore, prudent for him to come and express his condolence. Speaking in Fante President Mills said, “Please accept our deepest condolence; our pain is your pain, and your pain is our pain. May this never happen again”.

“On behalf of my team please accept our dearest condolence; we pray that our dear ones whom we have lost will find a good repose in the arms of the Lord.”
