Millions unable to chat as WhatsApp breaks down again

WhatsApp is not working for thousands of users across the globe in what seems like a major breakdown of the Chat App.

While some customers are having issues connecting to it others report receiving messages and many can’t login.

Challenges with the app, which is used by 1 billion people worldwide, includes sending and receiving messages and logging in.

According to Independent website DownDetector, problems with the chat app occurred around 8am this morning, with hundreds of people reporting issues with the app.

This is the second major breakdown experienced by WhatsApp users this year with the first major event happening in May 2017.

Already, users in Italy, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Germany, India, USA and Sri Lanka have reported challenges with the App whiles other users have jumped on Twitter and other social media platforms to register their frustrations with the Chat App.
