Military recruits on rampage; four injured in Western Region

Four people have been left in critical condition after they were allegedly brutalized by military recruits in the Western region.

According to Empire FM’s Emmanuel Ohene Djan many more were injured in the attacks.
The recruits numbering about fifteen (15) from the Air-Force Base in Takoradi are said to have gone on rampage Monday evening without any provocation, assaulting anyone who crossed their path.

Ohene Djan reports that residents had to run for their lives in order to save themselves from the violent nature of the military recruits.

Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Armed forces, Col. Aggrey Quarshie told Starr News that the victims have been told to report to the military base in the area for appropriate action.

Meanwhile, assembly member for the Amanful East electoral area Prince Kojo Arthur is demanding a thorough investigation into the incident.
