Mike Hammah donates computers to schools in Winneba

The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Mr Mike Hammah, has distributed 19 desk top computers to some Senior and Junior High Schools in Winneba.

Mr Hammah, the Member of Parliament for Effutu, bought the computers with his personal resources.

The beneficiary schools include Winneba Senior High School, A.M.E Zion Girls’ School, Nananom Senior High School, H.S. Amissah Memorial Institute, Uncle Rich Senior High and Winneba School of Business.

Mr Hammah said the government alone cannot shoulder all the responsibilities of providing quality education and called for support from other stakeholders.

He appealed to students who had attained 18 years and above to register.

Mrs Cecilia Coffie, the Head Mistress of Winneba Senior High School and Rev Mrs Helena S. Essien, the Head Mistress of Zion Girls, expressed their gratitude to the MP for the donation. **
