Kumasi, Jan.25, GNA – The Kejetia Traders Association (Mighty “18”), has commended delegates to the just ended national congress of the ruling NDC in Tamale for political maturity that enabled the congress to become a big success. They also congratulated the new executive on their election and said this was a confirmation of the confidence that the members have in them. These were contained in a statement signed by Nana Kofi Boateng, the Chairman, and issued in Kumasi.
The Association welcomed former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings’s election a first Vice Chairperson and said this showed the party recognized her contribution to the growth and development of the NDC. It said under no circumstance should the party attempt to underestimate the influence of the Rawlingses’ in the party and urged the leadership to regard them as the main pillars of the party.
