Mfantseman West NPP congratulates new national executive

Saltpond (C/R), Dec. 26, GNA – The Mfantseman West New Patriotic Party (NPP) has congratulated the new national executives of the Party elected at last week’s national congress. In a statement released at the weekend, the constituency chairman, Mr James Dennis Ehuren, expressed unflinching support of the area to the new executives.

It commended the Party for conducting a peaceful conference. The statement assured the new executives that the constituency would work relentlessly to ensure that the Party retains the parliament seat in 2008 general election.

It appealed to the new executives to initiate programmes to seek the welfare of the party’s supporters at the grassroots. “The party’s dream to retain power in 2008 would not be achieved if the supporters, especially the foot soldiers are not properly catered for,” the statement added. The statement also appealed to Ghanaians to be patient and allow the government to deliver. The statement added that politicisation of every policy of the government would not help in the country’s stride to move forward and urged Ghanaians to make informed choices and not allow detractors to confuse them.
