Saltpond (C/R), Oct. 8, GNA – The Mfantseman West Constituency Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), have congratulated Mr Robert Quainoo Arthur on his nomination and approval as the Chief Executive (DCE) for the Mfantseman District.
In a statement signed by Mr J.G. Ehuren, Chairman, Mr Joseph Boison, Secretary and Miss Esi Dankwa, Women Organiser, they expressed their gratitude to President John Agyekum Kufour for heeding the appeal of the people for the appointment of a substantive DCE.
They also commended the District Assembly for accepting the President’s nominee by voting massively for Mr Arthur. The Executives assured the DCE of their unflinching support and co-operation in the discharge of his duties.
They also appealed to members of the party and the Assembly to rally behind him to face the task ahead.
“We wish you God’s guidance and wisdom to enable you live up to the task of improving the living conditions of our people.
We are hopeful that you would not do anything to abuse the confidence President J. A. Kufuor and the Assembly have reposed in you,” the statement added.
