Saltpond (C/R), May 29, GNA – The Youth Wing of the Mfantseman West Constituency of the New Patriotic Party has commended President J A Kufuor for re-nominating Mr Robert Quainoo-Arthur as the District Chief Executive (DCE).
They also congratulated Mr Quainoo-Arthur for his re-nomination at a meeting at Saltpond.
Mr Ato Mends, Youth Organiser expressed their happiness that the President had appreciated the good work of Mr Quainoo-Arthur and re-nominated him to continue with his good work. They noted that the DCE had done a lot to improve the standard of living of the people since his appointment in September 2003 and appealed to him to make the youth the centre of development programmes he would initiate when confirmed.
“Lack of jobs has driven most of the youth to the cities making their contributions to development at home negligible”, Mr Mends stated.
