Saltpond (CR), Aug 25, GNA – Mr Francis Egyaaku Donkoh, a 27-year-old Executive Director of FED Kastle Promotions, a private company at Saltpond has declared his intention to contest the Central Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr Donkoh, a product of the Takoradi Polytechnic, is the Assembly Member for Nkubem Electoral Area of Saltpond in the Mfantseman District Assembly.
Addressing a news conference at Saltpond to announce his decision, he stated that his position as the Chairman of the NPP campaign team for Mfantseman West in the 2000 General Election and a member of the 2004 team had given him enough experience to handle the position when given the nod.
Mr Donkoh, Chairman of the Assembly’s Sub-Committee for the National Disaster Management Organisation, said he entered the Assembly as the youngest member in 2003 and had proved his worth through a number of voluntary works in his electoral area.
He said he would inject new blood into the Regional Executive when elected since the party would have a lot of work to do without President John Agyekum Kufuor in the saddle.
Mr Donkoh appealed to the Electoral College to give him a try when the time came. 24 Aug 05
