Metro Buses in NPP Colors -Akomea Explains

Information Minister Nana Akomea has reacted to the branding of some buses belonging to the Metro Mass Transport Company in the colours of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He said branding of the buses is a purely commercial operation. ?The buses are available for adverts. Ghana Telecom has branded one or two of them. The Young Executive Forum of the NPP is also paying for the branding of some of the buses in NPP colours and I know that some parties have also bought advert space on some of the buses?, he said.

Checks by this paper have revealed that the Convention People?s Party is making efforts to get advertising space on some of the buses whilst the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is also said to be interested in using the metro bus branding concept to advertise itself.
