Methodist women supports WAAF

The Women’s Fellowship of the Methodist Church of Ghana has donated assorted items worth several thousands of Ghana Cedis to the West African Aids Foundation [WAAF].

The donation, the seventh of its kind to the Foundation by the Fellowship, is to support the Almond Tree Foundation Project, which is aimed at helping the poor, needy, neglected and the vulnerable in society.

Another aim of the Almond Tree Foundation according to a press release issued by WAAF is to help give people living with HIV more self sustainability on earth.

The statement added ‘’ The Methodist Women’s Fellowship’s donations have significantly supported the Almond Tree Project, which aims to give people living with HIV more self-sustainability.

The Almond Tree and members and their families for the past seven years continue to receive the unflinching support of the Fellowship in both monetary and materials donations.

. These contributions have undoubtedly helped the clinic’s clients receive the best possible care over the years.

‘’ WAAF would like to state how deeply the organization appreciates the Fellowship’s commitment and hopes that the partnership will continue for many years to come’’ the release concluded.

The items donated included food items, toiletries, soaps, and clothing’s amongst others.
