Methodism must be relevant to the needs of society – Methodist Men

Kumasi, Nov 28, GNA – The Adum Wesley Cathedral branch of the Association of Methodist Men’s Fellowships, has marked its 29th Anniversary with a call on members to devise new strategies to advance Methodism.

The Reverend Solomon Acquah, a Minister at the Cathedral, said the church’s principles were relevant in today’s world where social vices and indiscipline were threatening to hold back society.

The Association, he said, should collaborate with other sister organisations to promote evangelism, retreats and outreach programmes to help the people to uphold the values of acceptable moral behavior and conduct.
