Mensah gives lamps to health center

Manso-Abore (Ash), 12 Dec 1998 Oheneba Tua Mensah, a Ghanaian resident in Victoria Texas in the United States, has presented two gas lamps worth 500,000 cedis to the Abore Health Center in the Amansie West district of Ashanti.

Madam Adwoa Kraa, mother of the donor, said her son had donated the items to facilitate work at the center in the night.

Mr. Samuel Habran Botchey, the Medical Officer in-charge, thanked the donor for the gesture and called on others to emulate Oheneba Mensah to ensure effective health delivery services at the center.

Present were Mr. Kwaku Aninkora-Sie, the Amansie West District Chief Executive and Nana Opoku Agyeman the second, Aborehene.
