Memory Lane Video: Rawlings teases Mahama

Former President Jerry John Rawlings is considered by many to have a weak sense of humour. To others, he is too serious, firm, impatient and has a commanding figure, which comes as no surprise considering his military background.

But most people are yet to know the other side of Mr. Rawlings; I mean the side that makes you shake your head in disbelieve, yet laugh at the unexpected jokes that come out of nowhere.

Just a few months ago, Mr. Rawlings was awarded by the University of Development Studies, which he founded during his time as president.

At such a well attended function, the former president ceased the opportunity to, amusingly tell the president, John Dramani Mahama, not to be late .
