Media asked to apply for Obama accreditation

Accra, June 2, GNA – The Information Services Department (ISD) on Tuesday asked all media personnel, desirous of covering the visit of US President Barack Obama, to Ghana on July 10-11 to apply for accreditation.
Applicants should address their letters to the Director of ISD, or contact Mrs Evelyn Anthony, Head of Media Liaison, Room 24, Ministry of Information on or before June 16.
Applicants can reach Mrs Anthony on (021) 222483 or infor@mino.gov.gh, according to a statement signed by the Acting Director of ISD, Mr Samuel Amankwa. It said the accreditation would cover local and foreign journalists.
Requirements for the accreditation are: Full name; date of Birth; Passport Number (if applicable) or Press Card; Place of Birth and Mother’s maiden name.
