MCE inaugurates 10.7-kilometre road in Sunyani

Sunyani, Sept. 2, GNA – Mr Kwasi Oppong-Ababio, the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive, has appealed to residents in the municipality to bury their political differences and initiate self-help projects to attract support from the assembly.

He said this when he inaugurated a 10.7-kilometre road at Agyei-Ano in the Penkwase electoral area in the municipality.

The people of Agyei-Ano with the support from the municipal assembly constructed the road at the cost of GHC 14,600.

Mr Oppong-Ababio said the assembly would ensure equitable distribution of projects to all communities in the area and appealed to the people to rekindle their communal labour spirit.

Mr Baffoe Okrah, the assemblyman for the area, appealed to the assembly to provide the area with street lights and a borehole.
