Mcdan Group of Companies on the eve of this year’s Eid al-Fitr celebration has presented food items worth thousands of cedis to the national Chief Imam Dr Sheikh Osman Sharubutu.
The items included bags of rice, sugar, gallons of cooking oil and cartons of tin tomato.
General Manager of Mcdan Group of Companies Michael sakyi noted that “we have been doing this for long on the quiet, supporting the communities we operate in.This is to celebrate with our Muslim folks during this festive season.
Recently, Mcdan extended same gesture to the Teshie orphanage in Accra, as well as injected thousands of dollars in to the just ended Mcdan open tennis West Africa tournament held in Accra, an initiative to restore the dwindling fortunes of tennis in the country.
