May Ghana continue to be “oasis of tranquility” – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has prayed to God on Christmas day to let Ghana “continue to be an oasis of tranquility in all life’s storms.”

As Ghanaians join the rest of the world to celebrate the birth of Christ on December 25, Mahama is also thanking God “for his continuous blessing and favour on our nation.”

In a Facebook post to wish Ghanaians a Merry Christmas, the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate encouraged Ghanaians to touch the hearts of the needy because “the more we share, the more we have”.

Below is his full Facebook post:

Joy to the world.

Xmas is here. It’s a season of love and sharing.

“The more we share, the more we have”.

I thank God for the gift of life, health and the opportunity to share the love of the season with the children of Bole/Bamboi.

We thank God for his continuous blessing and favour on our nation.

May we continue to be an oasis of tranquility in all life’s storms.

Merry Christmas to all Ghanaians. May the season portend even greater success for ourselves and our country.
