Mass wedding in Ghana.

A mass wedding involving thirty-three couples will take place on Sunday, May 24th at the Abossey Okai Temple of the International Central Gospel Church in Accra. According to officials of the church, led by the Right Rev. Dr. Mensah Otabil, although history will be made, the occasion will also allow the church to demonstrate its conviction that weddings need not be expensive to be acceptable in the sight of God. Meanwhile, it is on record that the largest wedding ceremony in history took place in the South Korean capital, Seoul on the 22nd of August 1992. It involved 20, 825 couples and was officiated by Bishop Sun Myung Moon. In addition, a further 9,800 couples around the world took part in the ceremony through a satellite link.
