About 400 unclaimed and unidentified bodies at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital mortuary have been buried en masse.
The exercise was organised by the hospital in collaboration with the Accra Metropolitan Health Department of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA). This became necessary because of the congestion at the mortuary.
The bodies were unclaimed even after public announcements were made.
