For taking advantage of a 12-year-old imbecile to satisfy his sexual appetite, a 22- year-old mason has been remanded into prison custody by the Juaso Circuit Court presided over by Mr. S.K. Sarpong Appiah.
Kwame Osei’s plea was not taken and he would re-appear before the court on September 7 to answer charges of having canal knowledge of an idiot.
Police Chief Inspector Joseph Obeng said on August 21, a brother of the victim who shared a room with her noticed that the accused had sneaked into their room and called the attention of their father in the next room, forcing the accused to abscond.
Minutes after the incident the brother left the room to sleep with a friend and the accused, who was hiding in the dark behind the house, returned to the room and forcibly had sex with the victim.
As she screamed for help, the father rushed to the room and found the accused on top of his daughter and arrested him and handed him over to the police.
