Mason fined for stealing

Tema, Sept. 20, GNA – The Tema Circuit Court ‘A’, has imposed a fine of one million cedis, on a mason, who stole an executive chair valued at 700,000 cedis in front of a store at Tema Community 15. Raphael Kofi, who was sentenced on his own plea, would be jailed for 12 months in default.

Police Inspector Sarah Aggrey Acquah, told the Court presided over by Mr Charles Asiedu that on September 4, 2004, the complainant saw the accused person carrying the chair, which had been displayed in front of the store.

The complainant raised the alarm leading to the arrest of Raphael.
