Market fires is punishment from God – Prophet

Founder and leader of the Church of Rabbi, Prophet Kwabena Tawiah, says the rampant fires that have gutted some markets in the country will not cease if Ghanaians do not refrain from certain habits, which are incurring the wrath of God upon the nation.

Speaking on Peace FM News@ Midday, Prophet Kwabena Tawiah disclosed that the rampant fire outbreaks will continue till July unless the country genuinely seeks divine intervention from God.

According to him, the nation has offended the sensibilities of the Creator and market centres across the country will continually be razed by fires except the citizenry go down on their knees to plead with the Creator.

He attributed the cause of the fire outbreaks to the unbridled spate of homosexual acts, gruesome murders, stealing and other deviant acts which have characterized the nation.

Prophet Kwabena Tawiah reportedly prophesied last year that major fire outbreaks will strike the nation and only cease when the leaders and the citizenry seek God’s face.

“The prophecy impressed on Ghanaians, to genuinely renounce their deeds and seek God’s face because if care is not taken, there will be fire outbreaks throughout the year. It will be unbelievable, and we will be shocked. We do not want it to happen. So, I will plead; it’s left with just a month, let’s seize the opportunity to plead with the God of the country,” the man of God said.

“We should go on our knees and pray for Ghana. We should set a month and strongly intercede for Ghana or else from now to July, everywhere money is amassed or hoarded will be burnt down…,” he added.
