Marked improvement in security in Volta Region – Dzamesi

Ho, May 9, GNA – Mr Kofi Dzamesi, Volta Regional Minister, on Friday said the general security situation in the Volta Region had markedly improved. He said this was evidenced by the fewer reports of disagreements degenerating into conflicts that necessitated urgent interventions. Mr Dzamesi said this when Major-General Samuel Anum Odotei, Chief of the Army Staff, paid a courtesy call on him at the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) in Ho. He said the line of communication between the VRCC and the 66 Artillery Regiment was fluid and fruitful. Major-General Odotei was in Ho on a Military Human Resource Development programme.
