Management of SIC presents 10 million cedis to Asogli Education Fund

Ho, Oct. 29, GNA – The Management of State Insurance Company (SIC), on Sunday presented a cheque for 10 million cedis to the Asogli Education Fund in Ho.

It was in fulfilment of a pledge by the company to support the fund annually as part of its social responsibility. Mrs Doris Nkani, Head of Sales and Marketing of the company presenting the cheque said SIC was committed to its social obligations especially education for the nation’s human resource.

“We support other sectors including sports and health but we know the importance of education to the country therefore; we would not neglect our contribution to that sector,” she added. Togbe Lakle Adzie Howusu XII, Chief of Ho-Dome, who received the cheque on behalf of Asogli Traditional Council, expressed gratitude to the company for their support.

He gave the assurance that all monies realised would be well utilised and urged institutions, organisations, philanthropists and stakeholders in education to support the fund.
