Management of Diamond Cement donates cement to Police

Aflao, Nov. 23, GNA – The Management of Diamond Cement Ghana on Tuesday, presented 250 bags of cement worth 24 million cedis for the rehabilitation of Police stations, barracks and cells within the Keta Dvisional Police Command.

The presentation forms the first phase of 500 bags of cement to be presented by the company.

Mr Samuel Sackitey, Aflao District Police Commander briefing the at the police stations.

Mr Sackitey said water closets would be provided at cells within Aflao while provision of more improved places of convenience would be made at Aflao and Denu. He appealed to other institutions, companies and philanthropists to emulate the company. Mr Chitti Babu, Gener al Manager of the company, said the presentation was part of its corporate and social responsibility programme to the police, an important institution in the prevention of lives and property. The Keta Division comprises of Keta, Sogakope, Akatsi, Dzodze and Aflao.
