Man steals Police commander’s goat

Moro Iddrisu 24, last Monday allegedly went to the residence of the Brong-Ahafo Police Operations Commander and stole his she-goat from his pen on his blind side.

But for the vigilance of some passersby, the former butcher would have gone with the goat without notice.

Moro Iddrisu, who stays at Sunyani Zongo and used to be a butcher, was pulling the animal away confidently when the passersby accosted him and demanded to know where he got the animal from and where he was leading it to. Not satisfied with his answer, the curious people asked him to send it back to where he bought it from.

Just as he was about to lead them to where he brought the animal from, the police patrol team appeared and upon further interrogations, realized that the animal belongs to their senior officer.

The police personnel were shocked when they realized that Moro stole the animal from their senior officer’s pen. It was later discovered that Moro is a serial thief who was brought to the police station often with stealing charges.
