Love went sour between two residents in Accra when 27 year old seamstress, Dora Dunyo was allegedly set on fire by her boyfriend who poured petrol on her in their home near the Trassaco Valley Estates.

The lady, who is currently in critical condition at the University hospital in Legon, was rushed to the hospital moments after neighbours were alerted of the situation.

Speaking to Citi News, brother of the victim, Kwame John, indicated that Bismark [boyfriend] had on countless occasions beat up his sister.

According to him, he was summoned at 2:36 am on Friday to Dora’s home only to discover “she had been burnt.”
