Man remanded for defiling 15-year-old girl

Tema, Aug 03, GNA – A Circuit Court ‘B’ in Tema remanded Samuel Edomfa Agbangba, a 25-year-old man, who defiled a final year Junior Secondary School (JSS) student, who worked with him (accused) at his drinking bar, The suspect pleaded not guilty and will reappear on August 9. Chief Inspector Edith Nutakor told the court that when the victim completed her JSS final examination last May, her sister, who is a friend to the accused, pleaded with him to employ the girl. Chief Insp Nutakor said the victim worked at the bar till July 19 when someone informed her (the sister) that the accused have been having sex with the victim forcibly. The sister of the girl reported the matter to the Police and Agbangba was arrested.
