Man remanded for attempting to enter house unlawfully

Tema, July 20, GNA – The Tema Circuit Court ‘B’, has remanded Christian Abban, unemployed, into custody for allegedly attempting to enter a house unlawfully.

He pleaded not guilty to a charge of being at a premise unlawfully and will reappear on July 27, 2004.

Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Alice Gyamfi, told the Court, presided over by Mr Stephen Teye, that on July 8, 2004, the accused was found opening a room of a security officer in a house at Ashaiman and took to his heels when the alarm was raised.

She said Christian returned to the house the following day, and was arrested by the security officer and handed over to the Police.
