Man left to decompose over burial disagreement

The body of a man has been left to decompose in a bush due to disagreement over where he should be buried.

The man, identified as Kojo Ankrah, who is in his mid 30s was discovered dead on a farm Tuesday after he went missing at Sepaase in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region.

Unfortunately, residents at Sepaase were not able to unite and decide where he should be buried. His discovery has rather brought confusion among the residents.

They are sharply divided over what should be done with the corpse.

A section of the residents in the town wants the decomposing body buried in the farm where it was discovered to avert any health implications.

But the traditional authority has objected to that.

The chiefs rather want the man buried at the community cemetery.

The disagreement has lingered on since Tuesday as the body keeps decomposing in the bush.
