Tarkwa, Dec 13, GNA – An illegal gold miner, Kojo Armah of Bawdie-Dompim in the Wassa West District, has been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment by a Tarkwa Circuit Court for having anal sex with a 10-year old boy.
Prosecuting, Inspector Florence Tawiah of Tarkwa Police told the court that on September 1 whilst the victim and the convict were asleep in the same room the 10-year old boy felt somebody was lying on him. When he opened his eyes he saw Armah having sex with him through the anus.
The victim shouted and called his father who reported the case to the police.
Passing sentence the judge said Armah’s behaviour cut him from right thinking members of society, he had behaved more than a beast and therefore deserved to be jailed.
