Man jailed 18 months for stealing a sheep

Ajumako(C/R) Oct.01, GNA 96 An Ajumako District Magistrate’s Court on Friday sentenced Evans Kwasi Baiden 30, to 18 months imprisonment on his own plea for stealing a sheep and a fowl valued at 345,000 cedis belonging to Madam Adjoa Essoun a 90-year-old farmer at Ajumako Gromain.

Police Sergeant John Koranteng, prosecuting told the court presided over by Mr Akwasi Asiedu Asmah that Baiden was arrested after stealing the sheep and the fowl from Madam Essoun’s pen. He said the accused was sent to Nkwantanum police station and after investigations charged with the offence.
